Brentwood High’s Ford Bell was an April Scholar Athlete winner. He set numerous school records on the track during his senior year, including in the mile, 800 meters, 400 meters, 4x400 relay, and 4x800 relay. He finished the year ranked nationally in the 800m while winning the state championship in that event and being part of the Bruin team that won the overall team title.
