Daniel Rippy of Corner Pub Nashvillian Rippy follows in his father’s restaurateur footsteps: About 15 years ago, Jeff Rippy began a tradition for his family: before each Nashville Kats arena football game, he’d set up a grill behind Tootsies in downtown Nashville. They’d spend the afternoon barbequing, offering plates to family and friends and anyone else who caught the wafting smell off of Broadway.
