Business Review Group opens office in Franklin
Judy W. Evans, president, Business Review Group Inc., announced that the firm has opened an office in Franklin, specializing in providing business coaching and business support through project management to small to mid-sized businesses.
“We find that many business owners can benefit from a business coach or mentor, who can provide a discerning overview of their business from the point of view of an outsider — a experienced business person who can provide trusted advice on current legislation impacting the business environment and help the company move forward to the next level of success, or help with effective solutions to particular business challenges,” said Evans.
Business Review Group offers professional financial and management services across a broad spectrum of industries, and they take it one step further to help their client make it happen. In addition, they provide support in the areas of accounting and taxation.

Evans founded Business Review Group in 2006 in Washington, D.C., to consult with small to midsize businesses. As owner of Judy W. Evans Inc., 1997 to 2005, she provided small businesses with financial management and legislative advocacy.
Her clientele has included a variety of businesses including manufacturers, dental specialists, a lobbyist and former
Congressman, and a Congressional candidate. She completed Directors’ Leadership Development at London Business
School in London, UK, in 2006, and Public Policy Training at The Brookings Institute, Washington, D.C., in 2004.
Evans brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from her career in business as a chief financial officer, controller and a member of a credit union board of directors. With her extensive alliances in Washington, D.C., she actively keeps up with current legislation impacting small businesses.
Evans is an accredited executive associate of the Institute for Independent Business (IIB), a 25-year-old nonprofit research, training and accreditation organization providing independent businesses with expert advice; a Certified Credit Union Director; Accredited Business Accountant; and Accredited Tax Preparer. She served on the Board of Directors of the CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union in Alexandria, Va., with 40,000 members, 2003 to 2009; was vice chairman of COFCU, and was chairman of its Asset/Liability Committee and a legislative representative.
She was a member of the Northern Virginia Legislative Committee of the Virginia League of Credit Unions, 2003 to 2006; served on the National Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation Subject Matter Expert Panel, 2003 to 2006; and was recognized in “NSA Success Stories,” in the April/May 2003 issue of The National Public Accountant of the National Society of Accountants.
In the Middle Tennessee community, Evans is currently an advisor for the Children’s Kindness Network, Franklin; a member of the Brentwood Rotary Club; and the CEO Fellowship in Brentwood.
