Submitted
Tanya Fogle, Diagnostic Imaging mammographer, center, recently was named Williamson Medical Center’s Employee of the Quarter for the third quarter. Congratulating Fogle are co-workers Deena Overstreet, ultrasound technologist, left, and Lanesia Johnson, Outpatient Imaging manager.

Williamson Medical Center recently named Tanya Fogle, Outpatient Imaging mammographer, as its Employee of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2012.

“I feel honored to receive this award,” says Fogle, who has been with WMC for 11 years. “I love what I do so much that it doesn’t feel like a job to me. I love all the patients who I help, and I have a great group of co-workers who make coming to work a lot of fun. I feel so blessed to be a part of this organization.”

Fogle’s co-workers submitted the following nomination:

“Tanya is an excellent employee who always greets patients with a smile. No matter how tough the situation, Tanya never gets frustrated and explains all procedures while showing concern and kindness to all patients and their needs. Patients come to Williamson Medical Center every year and ask for Tanya by name for their procedures. Patients often are anxious when they begin the procedure, but Tanya has the ability to calm their nerves. By the end of the procedure, both she and the patient come out smiling and talking as if they are best of friends. Tanya has been mentioned by name repeatedly on Press Ganey surveys. Tanya never complains and is an absolute joy to work with.”

Fogle was the first employee from Outpatient Imaging to be nominated for Employee of the Quarter.

“I am so proud of Tanya,” says Lanesia Johnson, Outpatient Imaging manager. “She is an amazing person and well deserving of this recognition.”

Other nominees included Stephanie Mangrum, Catheterization Laboratory technician; Brenda Powell, R.N., Day Surgery clinical coordinator; Steve Pruter, D.Ph., Pharmacy Department informatics manager; Beth Surbrook, physical therapist; and Aretha Turner, Third Floor nurse technician.
