Franklin Tomorrow Breakfast with the Mayors, Jan. 29
This year Franklin Tomorrow’s Breakfast with the Mayors will feature a series on entrepreneurship and leadership. The first speaker will be Tennessee Bun Company’s CEO Cordia Harrington, Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Rolling Hills Community Church, 1810 Columbia Ave. in Franklin. The series is sponsored by First Farmers Bank.
Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson and Franklin Mayor Ken Moore will moderate the event with a question and answer session with Harrington.
Prior to her banking experience, Harrington owned three highly successful McDonald’s restaurants in Illinois. Her enthusiasm and passion for her work are highly contagious and are the foundation of her success.
She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Kansai Gaidai and Osaka Japan and Hamburger University. She has built several successful companies including real estate, fast food restaurants and commercial bakeries from start-up. Harrington’s passion in life is to help others succeed, which is a big reason for her success in the business world.
The doors open at 7 a.m. with the program beginning at 7:45 a.m. Breakfast will be provided by Chick-fil-A and coffee by Royal Cup Coffee.
Other date for the 2013 series are April 30 when financial guru Dave Ramsey will speak; July 30; and Oct. 29, when former Thomas Nelson CEO Michael Hyatt has been invited to speak.
Additional sponsors for the series at Barge Waggoner Sumner & Cannon, Grand Avenue Limousine, Ryan Search & Consulting, and the Williamson County Association of Realtors. Event sponsors include Greater Nashville Association of Realtors, E | Spaces and Rolling Hills Community Church.
