First Farmers & Merchants Bank has announced the addition of Charlie Woodall to its Investment Services group to better serve customers in the bank's seven-county service area.
A twenty-year investment industry veteran, Woodall comes to First Farmers from SunTrust Bank in Nashville, where he has been a financial advisor since 2002. He will be Senior Investment Officer for First Farmers.
"We're excited to have Charlie bring his strong financial advisory knowledge to benefit our customers," R. Craig Holland, Williamson County President for First Farmers, said in making the announcement. "More consumers today want access to the most innovative investment tools and strategies to help build long-term financial security. Charlie's experience will blend well with the rest of our Investment Services team to further help us address those desires."
First Farmers' investment representatives help clients build personal wealth through investments such as mutual funds, stocks, fixed income securities, fixed and variable annuities and insurance products. The group also offers both individual and business retirement and college planning.
Woodall launched his career in 1985 as a manufacturer's representative with Garrison and Associates in Nashville. Since 1994, he has served as either a financial advisor or consultant at Prudential Securities, First American Bank, First Union Bank and SunTrust Bank. He holds both Series 7 and 65 licenses, as well as a BS degree in Finance from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Woodall and his family live in Franklin. He will be based out of the bank's Cool Springs office at 300 Billingsly Court, Franklin.
