Tennessee Bank and Trust adds Choppin
Tennessee Bank and Trust announced the appointment of S. Walker Choppin to the position of senior vice president of commercial banking.
Choppin was recently chief financial officer of Physicians Capital. He has been in banking or finance business for over 40 years.
He started the healthcare banking group for Bank of America in the early 80s. He managed the healthcare banking division for U. S. Bank in Nashville beginning in 2001.
Choppin is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, and after a two-year tour with the U.S. Navy, he earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina.
Choppin is a native of Nashville; he is active with the Boy Scouts and Westminster Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Samaritan Recovery Communities.
