Williamson County Youth Orchestra winter concert set for Dec. 9

The Williamson County Youth and Junior Orchestras have been practicing ardently since September preparing for their Winter Concert to be held on Monday, Dec. 9 at 7 pm at Jamison Hall in The Factory at Franklin.

Mark your calendar now, because you’re invited!  The concert is free and open to the public.  A silent auction will be held in conjunction with the concert.  Items as diverse as a guitar signed by Kenny Chesney, a professional sewing machine valued at $12,000, Nashville Symphony concert tickets and many other unique offerings will go to the highest bidders.

All funds raised will support orchestral programming for youth in Middle Tennessee as offered by the Williamson County Youth Orchestra (WCYO).

The organization is very grateful for the many local businesses who have donated items to the silent auction, including Sewing Machines and Things, Sony Music, The Violin Shop, Hendon Chiropractic, The Nashville Symphony, family and friends of WCYO students and many others.  More information and an early look at auction items can be found on the Williamson County Youth Orchestra website at
