NOTICE OF ALLOCATIONS
Regarding the Fifth Annual Update to the Five Year Consolidated Annual Action Plan for
Housing and Community Development
for Franklin, TN
The Fifth Annual Action Plan update to the five-year Consolidated Plan for housing and community development may be downloaded from the website at https://www.franklintn.gov/government/departments-a-j/building-and-neighborhood-services/department-operations/housing-commission. Copies are also available in the Building & Neighborhood Services Department of City Hall.
This plan includes the period July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2020 and the fifth-year action plan covering the period July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. The Consolidated Plan is a requirement for the City of Franklin to receive funds through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Annual funding is anticipated to be similar over the next program years; however, these allocations will be proportionally increased or decreased from the estimated funding levels to match actual allocation amounts after the final receipt of funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The annual action plan is anticipated to include specific funding amounts for programs such as Community Based Development Organizations, $150,000.00, Public Facilities, $97,000.00, Emergency Rehabilitation, $30,000.00, Fair Housing Outreach and Education, $3,000.00 and an allocation will be used for Administration assistance.
