City of Franklin Seeks Volunteer for

the Franklin Sustainability Commission

The City of Franklin is seeking a volunteer to serve on the Franklin Sustainability Commission.  Individuals serve a three-year term and must be willing to attend monthly meetings on the first Friday of each month from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and special meetings as needed. Members of the Commission serve without compensation.  Candidates should have a background in sustainability including energy efficiency, waste reduction, public outreach, transportation, or related topics.  Interested candidates should submit a brief letter of interest and resume to Andrew.Orr@franklintn.gov or mail to 109 Third Avenue South, Suite 133, Franklin, TN 37064.  Please call 615-550-6741 for more information. The final date for submissions is Monday, December 9, 2019 by 8 a.m. Members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
