of a New Bank Branch and 

Re-Location of the Bank’s Main Office

Notice is hereby given that Citizens Bank & Trust Company, located at 1359 West Main Street, Atwood, Carroll County, Tennessee 38220, has made application/notification to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (“FDIC”) for approval to open a new branch banking office located at 120 Fifth Avenue North, Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee 37064 and to re-locate the main office of the bank at the same location as the new branch.  The bank’s existing branch office in Atwood, Tennessee, would remain open for banking business under the name “Citizens Bank & Trust Company, a division of Lineage Bank.” Approval of this application would result in the bank operating two branches for banking business—one in Atwood, Tennessee, and one in Franklin, Tennessee.  Any person wishing to comment on this application/notification may file his or her comments in writing with the Regional Director (DSC) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at its Area Office at 6060 Primacy Parkway, Suite 300, Memphis, Tennessee, 38119, not later than April 14, 2021. The nonconfidential portions of the application/notification are on file in the Area Office and are available for public inspection during regular business hours. Photocopies of information in the nonconfidential portion of the file will be made available upon request.  In addition, the bank has made application/notification on or around March 15, 2021, to the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions for the same approvals requested from the FDIC and to change the legal name of the bank to Lineage Bank, while continuing to operate the branch in Atwood, Tennessee, under the name “Citizens Bank & Trust Company, a division of Lineage Bank.”  Any person wishing to comment on or protest this application/notification or any person having information which may have a bearing on the fitness of any of the organizers or proponents of this application/notification, may file comments with the Commissioner of Financial Institutions, Tennessee Tower, 26th Floor, 312 Rosa L. Parks Avenue, Nashville, Tennessee 37243, or telephone the Department of Financial Institutions at 615/741-5018 or submit comments by email to Debra.Grissom@tn.gov or William.Cook@tn.gov. Written or telephonic notice must be made to the Commissioner within fifteen (15) days of the first publication of this notice.
