Baldini Auction Company, LLC will be selling the personal property from the

estate of R.L. Poe in Franklin in an online auction that opened on Nov. 2

and closes on Nov. 16.

“There are over 500 lots in this online auction,”

Baldini Auction Company owner Patti Baldini said.

“Bob and Sally Poe were true collectors and the house is full. There is truly something for everyone!”

Some of the personal property items offered in the auction include more than 80

furniture lots featuring a stunning antique Tester bed, an early English dining

table, and several groupings of dining chairs. A very ornate monumental

Capodimonte “La Risurrezionne” porcelain statue is being offered, along with

fine crystal, and Asian export items. There are many artwork lots as well as hand

tools and small machinery.

The Poe House was featured in the June/July issue of Southern Exposure

Magazine, as being located on one of downtown Franklin’s most desirable

streets. The house is also on the National Register of Historic Places as a

contributing property to the Hincheyville National Register District.

All bidding for this auction is done online. Onsite inspection will be held on

Nov. 15 from 10a.m. to 3 p.m. Visit for

more information or call 615-490-6849.
