Christopher Hodges State Farm Insurance held a ribbon cutting on Thursday in partnership with Williamson, Inc.

Agent Christopher Hodges recently moved to Williamson County from Oxford, Mississippi. The opportunity to own a branch was a goal he’s had his eye on for some time.

After working in Mississippi for three years under another agent and learning the business, it was time for the Grenada, Mississippi native to branch out on his own.

Four staff members currently work at Hodges’ office, which opened in November of 2019.

“The goal all along was to have my own place,” he said. “We knew Franklin was a great place because of the growth and also a great place to raise a family.”

Hodges played soccer at Delta State University. He sees a lot of his experiences in the sport translate into business.

“I had a lot of good coaches growing up,” he said. “It helps me to coach my team and keep them motivated.”

Whether with auto, home, life or banking, Hodges wants to help his clients navigate the many types of insurance services out there.

“If they’re not sure about their coverage with what they have or need, I have a fully licensed staff that are very knowledgeable,” he said. “We’re going to not just sell them insurance, we’re going to make sure we’re educating them on it, and to make sure they know what they have is insured correctly.”

Christopher Hodges State Farm is located at 206 B Cool Springs Blvd., Suite 207, in Cool Springs.
