On July 10, Franklin police officers arrested 24-year-old Drewcilla Johnson for theft.

A Nashville woman who was allegedly stealing from a CoolSprings Galleria store remains jailed Friday after she was arrested during a traffic stop.

On Monday night, July 10, Franklin police officers stopped the car that 24-year-old Drewcilla Johnson was driving after CoolSprings Galleria security reported she had been in the process of bagging up a large amount of merchandise at Victoria’s Secret. However, she abandoned those bags and left after security entered the store.

When Franklin police stopped her, she was found in possession of stolen merchandise from other stores. Johnson, who lied to officers about her identity, was already wanted by police in several other jurisdictions.

She was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property, possession of tools to defeat anti-theft devices, criminal impersonation, driving on a revoked license (third offense) and having an unrestrained child in her vehicle.

Johnson is a convicted felon who was out of custody on probation. She is being held without bond in the Williamson County Jail and is due in court on July 16.
