Franklin man arrested for apparent domestic shooting

A Franklin man is behind bars after an early morning shooting Saturday. 

At about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, officers were summoned to the 100 block of Grenadier Drive in Franklin for a shooting. Officers determined that Hunter Pelham, 19, of Franklin, shot his father during a domestic disturbance. The 44-year-old victim was treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Pelham, charged with aggravated assault, is being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $50,000 bond. The gun used in the shooting was stolen in another jurisdiction. Additional charges in this case are possible.
