Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival will take place at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm Sept. 2122.

Finding available parking in downtown Franklin can be difficult at times. Add a music festival to the mix, and you can practically taste the full lots.

Here are some tips to help you navigate Franklin this weekend during the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival.

On-site parking

For those who have purchased parking passes for on-site lots, take Franklin Road from Mack Hatcher. Both lanes of Franklin Road from Mack Hatcher will be open for southbound traffic only. Drivers should use the left lane for the south lot and the right lane for the north lot.

There will be no access to Franklin Road for those without a parking pass, and no overnight parking is allowed.

Off-site parking

Liberty Elementary School, Bicentennial Park and Ligon Field have been designated as paid lots for the event.

For those not wanting to brave the heat any earlier than necessary, a shuttle will take attendees to the site for $1.

Franklin First United Methodist Church will also open its parking lot all day Saturday and after noon on Sunday for $20 or $30 for VIP spots. All proceeds will go toward the church’s men’s groups and mission work.

Drivers can also seek out street parking and garage space in the downtown area.

For more adventurous parties, free kayak and canoe parking will be available by the Harpeth River. Attendees are responsible for bringing their own boats.

Ride-hailing services

Those catching a ride in a taxi or through services such as Uber or Lyft must be picked up and dropped off at The Factory, across the street from The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. Such vehicles will not be allowed on Franklin Road during the festival.

By downloading the Freebird app, the festival offers up to $15 back on Uber or Lyft rides. Enter the promo code “PILGRIMAGE” to redeem.

Pilgrimage is offering shuttle service from Franklin, Brentwood and Nashville.

Franklin shuttles will run from Baymont, Towne Place Suites and Franklin Marriott. The Brentwood shuttle will start at Four Points by Sheraton. Nashville locations include 312 Pizza Company and the soccer field parking lot on Granny White Pike and Morrow Avenue.

Shuttle passes cost between $23 and $60. More information can be found at
