Keystone Financial Resources in Brentwood celebrated a decade in business with a ribbon cutting in partnership with Williamson, Inc. on Wednesday.

The firm specializes in financial planning that helps clients construct a retirement plan that works for them and their goals.

“We’re a boutique financial planning firm,” said Glenn Price, owner and financial advisor. “We work with families that are five to 10 years away from retirement.”

Price and Jonathan Scott founded Keystone Financial Resources in 2010. Price credits the firm’s success to putting clients first and a talented staff of nine.

“Our heart is to serve [clients] in such a way that they never want to leave,” he said.

With some feeling financial uncertainty right now in 2020, Price advises his clients to look at the bigger picture moving forward.

“This event is not going to make or break your entire financial plan,” he said. “You have to keep that perspective.

“We believe that money is just a tool to help you improve the quality of your life. What we’re looking for are clients who are wanting to come on board with team members to help them build a plan to see them all the way through.”

Price said there are five key areas his firm focuses on related to financial planning:

• Building a family and income plan

• Finding strategies to help with portfolios to deal with volatility

• Tax planning

• Healthcare costs as one ages

• Overall estate plan

“We try to build a master plan that covers all of those areas,” Price said. “You’ve got to have a plan. If you don’t have a plan, then find an advisor that is a fiduciary and start with helping them identify what that plan should be for you.”

Keystone Financial Resources is located in 7112 Crossroads Blvd., Suite 101, in Brentwood. For more information, visit https://www.keystonefinancialresources.com.
