The Nolensville Little League baseball team clinched a spot in the regional championship after a state title win last week.

The local team features 11- and 12-year-olds from around Williamson County. The team claimed a 12-2 championship win over Morristown and will face Alabama’s Sylacauga Little League on Aug. 6 for a shot at advancing to the 2021 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, later in August.

The Aug. 6 Southeast Region contest will take place at 6 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on ESPN+. There will also be a watch party held at Mill Creek Brewing Company in Nolensville.

The team is coached by Randy Huth, Chris Mercado and Evan Satinoff.
