Shake Shack to open location at Franklin's McEwen Northside

Shake Shack, the popular modern-day “roadside” burger stand, will open its first Williamson County location at McEwen Northside, the 45-acre mixed-use environment offering fully integrated commercial, retail, residential and greenspace in Cool Springs. 

Slated to open in 2021, this will be Shake Shack’s second location in Tennessee, joining the Green Hills space that opened in 2018.

Shake Shack is a critically acclaimed, modern-day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and griddled flat-top dogs (no hormones or antibiotics — ever), fresh-made frozen custard, crispy crinkle-cut fries and more. A fun and lively community gathering place with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned a cult-like following around the world.

“We are excited to officially welcome Shake Shack as a tenant at McEwen Northside,” said Phil Fawcett, partner with Boyle Investment Company. “Shake Shack will be a great addition to the impressive list of diverse tenants at McEwen Northside and will add to the unique dining experience the mixed-use district offers.”

Shake Shack is part of an impressive list of commercial and retail tenants at McEwen Northside, including Mitsubishi Motors, Perry’s Steakhouse, Club Pilates, Jeni’s Ice Cream, Tiff’s Treats, PROSE Nail Salon, Just Love Coffee, Vintage Vine 100 and Williamson, Inc.

Located at 4031 Aspen Grove in Franklin, McEwen Northside has completed Phase 1, which includes a 208,000-square-foot Class A mixed-use office building and 341 luxury apartment units. Once all phases are delivered, the 45-acre development will feature a total of 750,000 square feet of office space, 100,000 square feet of restaurants and specialty retail, a 150-room Springhill Suites and beautifully designed greenspaces. McEwen Northside will also feature approximately 800 luxury residential units that are currently available for preleasing and are expected to open later this year.
