Early morning snowfall may have closed schools, but it accentuates the beauty of the Lotz House Civil War House Museum on Columbia Avenue.
A weather pattern that brought spring-like temperatures, high winds, thunderstorms, and as many as eight tornadoes to the region this week appears determined to close out the week with wintry weather. An overnight dusting of snow forced closed Williamson County Schools and those of the Franklin Special School District. Fortunately, the roads are largely clear. Temperatures are not expected to rise above the freezing mark today. Sleet and possibly more snow are forecast for Saturday.
