After nearly three months of closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hilton Brentwood/Nashville Suites is welcoming guests once more and stressing its “CleanStay” protocols that are focused on the health and safety of guests and staff.
“We are back, and we are definitely implementing policies and procedures to keep our guests as well as our team members safe,” said Rosemary Short, the director of sales and marketing at the hotel.
She said that protocols include daily temperature checks of staff before they clock in, enhanced cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, including the lobby and continued usage of digital keys.
Short said that Hilton management decided to suspended its operations on April 10 because of the pandemic’s effects on the travel industry. The hotel reopened on July 1 and has already surpassed its occupancy numbers from just before its shutdown, Short said.
Short said that a large portion of hotel guests are those just wanting to get away for a while.
“A lot of people who live in the nearby counties ... are coming to the area, to Franklin and to Nashville, for staycations,” she said.
