Electronic Express in Cool Springs celebrated a ribbon cutting Thursday, showcasing its recently relocated store, in partnership with Williamson, Inc.

The electronics store, which has locations across the Southeast, moved into a portion of the former Toys R Us location two months ago, according to store manager Ryan Starling.

“This day reflected all the hard work and dedication that myself and my crew put into getting this place ready for the way it looks right now,” he said.

Thursday’s ceremony was the official grand opening celebration for the Cool Springs store, which has 10 staff members. The move from across the street gave Electronic Express more room to showcase a wider variety of brands and inventory, Starling added.

“The move was a very time consuming process but very rewarding at the very end,” he said. “There were a lot of long nights and early mornings.”

Sterling moved to the Nashville area in 2006 and started his career with Electronic Express as a retail sales associate at another location, moving to floor manager and then eventually store manager of the Cool Springs location.

“Every day is a new adventure, and every day is exciting,” Starling said.

The company’s slogan, “we make it happen,” is something Starling and his crew take very seriously.

“We’re here to get you everything you need, and our slogan is, ‘we make it happen,’” he said. “That’s what we do, we make it happen.”

Electronic Express is located at 1735 Galleria Blvd., suite 1000 (across from Target).
