Summit BHC, a leading national provider of behavioral health and addiction treatment services based in Franklin, has expanded its senior leadership team with the recent hiring of Andy Hanner as chief development officer and Kim Brady as senior vice president of human resources.

“These two experienced executives are important additions to our leadership team given our planned expansion. Each of them will play key roles in a bright future for our company,” said Brent Turner, CEO of Summit. “Andy brings extensive experience in development and will spearhead our efforts in both acquisition and de novo growth. Kim will lead our human resources efforts as we scale up to support our expanding footprint and workforce.”

Hanner was formerly the chief strategy officer at Acadia Healthcare. In that role, he led the development of multiple joint venture partnerships throughout the United States. Additionally, he was responsible for developing new inpatient psychiatric hospitals and behavioral health facilities and was an integral resource for the company’s single facility and multi-facility acquisitions. He has more than 30 years of behavioral healthcare experience, with leadership roles spanning clinical, operational, strategy and development. Before joining Acadia in 2011, Hanner was a division president with Psychiatric Solutions.

Brady most recently served as chief human resources officer at Acadia Healthcare, where she led the HR, employee benefits and payroll teams. She worked with the operations and facility leadership teams on employee relations, recruiting and retention initiatives. Additionally, she was the HR lead on acquisitions and joint ventures. She has more than 23 years of experience in behavioral healthcare. Before joining Acadia in 2011, Brady was the director of employee benefits at Psychiatric Solutions.
