The NAI Nashville Leasing and Property Management team has announced Franklin Soul as the new tenant at 9040 Carothers Parkway in Franklin.

The southern eclectic restaurant, led by a James Beard-recognized chef, will open its doors to the public on Monday, Sept. 24.

"This is the best location to open Franklin Soul," said Chef Reuben Sliva, owner of Franklin Soul. "We want to provide great, made-from-scratch, local Southern cuisine in a fun, family-friendly environment without breaking the bank, and Franklin is the perfect place."

Franklin Soul was created by Sliva, a Southern Illinois native who has worked in fine dining for more than a decade in Georgia and South Florida. The menu is inspired by traditional Southern barbeque, soul food and Cajun cooking. Franklin Soul is a neighborhood gathering spot designed for friends and families to meet and indulge in offerings created straight from the heart of the chef while enjoying local craft beers, a full bar and live entertainment.

The grand opening for the restaurant is scheduled for Oct. 12.

"We are excited to welcome Franklin Soul into the neighborhood," said Devin McClendon, president of NAI Nashville. "Chef Reuben has an amazing concept, and we are thrilled to have him as a tenant on Carothers Boulevard."

Franklin Soul will be located in the Shoppes of Carothers, a retail shopping center located at 9040 Carothers Parkway. The retail center holds a mix of national and local tenants.

NAI Nashville's Devin McClendon, SIOR, and Trey Kirby, CCIM, represented the landlord, Carothers Shops LLC., in the transaction.
