Many community members, elected officials and bank staff were on hand for Renasant Bank’s ribbon cutting on Tuesday morning in downtown Franklin.
In partnership with Williamson, Inc., Renasant Bank celebrated the recent grand opening of its newest branch, which sits directly across from the Franklin Police Department headquarters.
This is the bank’s second location in Williamson County. It is staffed with six team members.
Work on the new building started in January and was completed in approximately six months.
“We are so excited to have a presence in downtown Franklin,” said Renasant Private Client Senior Manager Diane LeBlanc. “We feel like being here in the community is where we need to be.”
With technology advancing, the downtown Franklin Renasant location has installed virtual teller machines. The technology will allow customers to touch a screen to interact with a teller or any company service representative via a computer screen.
LeBlanc, a veteran banker for 28 years and Franklin resident, explained that while technology may be changing, the Renasant team will always be there to help.
“They want to know their banker and know someone is going to be there when they pick up the phone,” she said. “Send me a text or email me; we live here in the community.”
Veteran banker Harrison Crabtree, president of Renasant Bank’s Williamson County locations, said more branches are coming in the next few years.
“We’re looking to grow within the next five years north, probably somewhere in Brentwood, and south,” he said. “We want to make a statement in Williamson County.”
Crabtree’s goal is to have at least four offices to serve the county.
Serving clients is an important goal for Crabtree and the Renasant team.
“Our service is excellent, our people are excellent and that’s what makes a difference,” he said. “A bank is a service business. If we don’t take care of our customers, then we lose business, so we really pay attention to our clients and customers.”
