Walker Chevrolet hosted its All Star Open House event on Tuesday, July 23 to highlight some its new generation vehicles that have been released.

The dealership is headquartered in Franklin and has served the Middle Tennessee Chevrolet community since 1926. It's a local, family-owned business going back three generations.

In addition to test driving the brand new Silverado and Blazer, attendees enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs, games and the chance to win prizes through a drawing.

Scott Shake, business development and marketing manager, explained more about the vehicles showcased.

“We’re unveiling the all new re-launch of the Blazer, and the redesign of the new Silverado,” he said.

Shake has worked at Walker Chevrolet for one year. He previously worked in the retail sector.

General Manager Brock Daily has taken care of guests at Walker Chevrolet for four years, and has spent 41 years in the automotive industry.

“Walker Chevrolet has been serving Middle Tennessee and the surrounding area for 92 years,” Daily said. “We believe in giving back to the community and taking care of our guests.”
