On Saturday, Sept. 28, Battle Ground Academy will induct new members into its Alumni, Sports and Faculty Hall of Fame. In addition, the school will honor its Distinguished Young Alumna in a ceremony to be held at the Hilton Franklin Cool Springs as part of the school’s homecoming weekend festivities.

“The induction of these deserving men and women is a reminder to our students, families and alumni that BGA graduates really can do anything with their education,” BGA Head of School Will Kesler said. “Whether prepared for medicine, commerce, athletics or community service, our graduates excel in every field possible. We are delighted to welcome these BGA greats into our Hall of Fame. I know their accomplishments inspire me, and I hope that they will do the same for all of our students and graduates.”

Being honored this year are:

Alumni Hall of Fame: Dr. Allen French Anderson (Deceased), Class of 1968; Ronald Sanders Ligon Sr., Class of 1955

Sports Hall of Fame: Bradley Kenneth Jones, Class of 1986; Brandon Scott Jones, Class of 1989; Matthew Ryan Ridings, Class of 2006

Distinguished Young Alumna: Tara Hodgson Moseley, Class of 2005

Mike Keith, a 1986 BGA graduate, member of the independent school’s Hall of Fame and Voice of the Tennessee Titans, will serve as the presenter. For more information on BGA’s Hall of Fame event on Sept. 28 and to purchase tickets, visit
