The 25th annual Chukkers for Charity benefit for the Rochelle Center and Saddle Up! was held on Saturday at Riverview Farm in Franklin.

The weather was perfect for a polo match, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event was orchestrated a little different than usual. Tailgating was located on one side of the field with individual cabanas for the patrons. Guests were limited to 10 in each of the cabanas.

At halftime, guests could take part in stomping the divots in the arena and enjoyed music by Johnny and the Devil’s Box. Children were occupied with the stick horse race sponsored by Williamson Medical Center.

Awards were given for best-dressed man and woman and best tailgate tent.

Ice cream provided by Publix Super Market Charities was given out from the back of cars from Andrews Transportation Group. Patrons were also served a boxed supper while they watched the second half of the match.

Event co-chairs this year were Nina Lindley and Matt Paco. The teams were sponsored by Ironhorse Farms and Lo Key Ranch.
