Franklin Rodeo Parade

The Franklin Noon Rotary Club kicked off rodeo week with a parade circling downtown Franklin’s square on Saturday.

The rain held off as wagons, horses, marching bands, clowns, floats, a variety of vehicles and more walked, trotted, marched and rolled through the downtown streets.

New parade entries this year included the Williamson County Alumni Marching Band and Friends. The recently created group of former high school band students from across Williamson County made performing at the rodeo parade its first big goal.

The 70th annual Franklin Rodeo will kick off May 16 through 18 with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. The show and competition starts at 7 p.m.
