Friends of Franklin Parks and the city of Franklin Parks Department are inviting residents to a day of free yoga and activities at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm to celebrate International Day of Yoga.

On Friday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests of all ages are invited to Yoga in the Park to experience various types of classes, including goat yoga, family yoga, power yoga, office yoga and more.

“Yoga is a great way to promote both physical and mental health, and we love having the opportunity to share events like this with our community,” said Torrey Barnhill, executive director of Friends of Franklin Parks. “Jason Collins, owner of Juice Bar Franklin, chaired this event and did an excellent job putting together a schedule that will appeal to all types of people, ranging from a ‘Mommy & Me’ option to goat yoga and everything in between.”

There will be giveaways throughout the event, along with snacks and more. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats.

Event sponsors include Juice Bar Franklin, Lululemon and Signs First.
