As rain showers cleared, the patriotic sprit came alive in the town of Nolensville on Saturday evening.

The 10th annual Star Spangled Celebration attracted upwards of 5,000 people to Nolensville Park on Saturday for a time of flag-waving and family friendly fun.

A selection of 20 food trucks, kids inflatables and live music encompassed the evening. Some of the live music included the talented Lindsey Benedict, who was accompanied by Judson Jazz band. Later, Groove Addiction played a variety of hits from all genres of music that got people grooving to the music.

Nolensville Mayor, Jimmy Alexander, and fellow board of mayor and alderman members warmly welcomed the crowd.

“We have a great celebration in the best small town in Tennessee,” said Alexander. “I hope everyone remembers the Star Spangled Celebration and comes back next year."

For the evening finale at dusk, a 20-minute fireworks spectacle left everyone awestruck.
