The Good Cup

The Good Cup is a coffee shop in the Grassland community.

The community is invited to meet at The Good Cup on Friday, Sept. 25 for an outdoor music night.

Located in Grassland on Hillsboro Road, The Good Cup is known as the neighborhood’s coffee shop and features local products supporting the community.

Guests can bring lawn chairs or a blanket to enjoy the beautiful fall evening listening to great music.

Organizers said the community needs more music, and the outdoor venue offers a great opportunity to enjoy the evening while socially distant.

“Customers have been asking me for months when our monthly open mic nights will start back up, and I think this will be a great alternative for the community to gather in a larger space,” Amanda Taylor, owner of The Good Cup, said.

The emcee for the night will be Art Gonzales. Performers will include Rick Duvall and friends, the Nelson Brothers and Paul Good, and Good’s daughter, Grace Good, will perform a few acts to entertain the audience. She is a cirque artist, and more information on her talents can be found at https://www.gracegoodcirque.com/.

“The Good Cup will be offering our full food and drink menu,” Taylor said. “I’m also setting up some fire pits to stay warm. We will have s’mores kits available to purchase if children want to roast marshmallows.”

The Good Cup is located at 2181 Hillsboro Rd. Learn more at http://thegoodcup.com/.
