Connor was honored for her 15 years of service as the transportation director during a recent retirement ceremony.

Sue Connor, Transportation Management Association (TMA) Group’s transportation manager for the past 15 years, was honored last week for her dedication and service during a retirement ceremony held at the TMA offices in Franklin.

Connor was part of the TMA team who helped launch the Franklin Transit Authority (FTA).

“I worked with a great group of drivers,” Connor said. “I will miss this great group of folks who worked hard every day, but it’s time to travel with my husband.”

Connor supervised the transit driver team and was involved in the daily operations of the service.

“She was hard working, dedicated and committed to serving the community of Franklin,” said Debbie Henry, TMA executive director. “It’s time for the next chapter of her journey.”

Franklin Mayor Ken Moore and Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson were on hand to read proclamations in Connor’s honor.
