The Library’s Bucky & Bonnie's Library Adventure has received the "Best of Show at PR Xchange" Award in the Advocacy/Print category for libraries with budgets under $6 million. The "Best of Show at PR Xchange" awards recognize the very best public relations materials produced by libraries in the past year. Over 345 entries were evaluated based on content, originality, and design by a team of experts in public relations, graphic design, communications, and marketing who selected the winner(s) in each category.

The Best of Show Awards are sponsored by the Public Relations and Marketing Section of the Library Leadership Administration and Management Association, a division of the American Library Association, and are overseen by the PR XChange Committee. Winning entries will be on display during the PR Xchange program during the 2014 ALA Annual Conference in Las Vegas. Awards will be presented to the winners on that day.

Bucky & Bonnie's Library Adventure, a book for children, was written, illustrated, and designed by Williamson County Public Library staff, and was published by Academy Park Press, WCPL's imprint for in-house publications. Copies of the book are available for purchase at the Main Library on Columbia Avenue, or at amazon.com.
