Saelly is the Pet of the Week at Williamson County Animal Center.

Due to scheduled electrical maintenance, Williamson County Animal Center will be closed from 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8 through Monday, Nov. 11 (Veterans Day).

The shelter will reopen for regular hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

The offsite maintenance project will prevent computer software use at the shelter and cause the following adjustments to the hours of operation:

• Friday, Nov. 8, the shelter will close early at 4:30 p.m.

• Saturday, Nov. 9, the shelter will be closed to the public.

• Sunday, Nov. 10, the shelter will be closed.

• Monday, Nov. 11, the shelter will be closed for Veterans Day observance.

An animal control officer will answer emergency calls at 615-790-5757.

The Williamson County Animal Center is located at 106 Claude Yates Dr. in Franklin.

Pet of the Week — Saelly

The Williamson County Animal Center is pleased to introduce Saelly as the pet of the week.

This 9-year-old mixed breed has some tantalizing toofers. Saelly has plenty of pep in her step and loves to go on walks. She would need to be in a home without small children, but knows there is a forever family out there somewhere.

All the dogs and cats adopted through Williamson County Animal Center are current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered and microchipped.
