Jennie Dohe
Jennie Dohe, age 83 of Maury County, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 at Columbia Care & Rehab Center in Columbia.
She is survived by her son Johnny (Jeanetta) Tomlin of Columbia; sisters, Mildred Sullivan of Spring Hill and Sally Warren of Erin; grandchildren, Daryl (Cindy) Tomlin, Cheryl (Phillip) Howell and Jason (Julie) Tomlin; and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Andrew Roberts officiating.  Burial followed in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation was Thursday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.

William Stanley Johnson
William Stanley Johnson, age 50 of Franklin, died Dec. 19, 2007.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his mother, Virginia Sue Johnson; brother, Ronnie (Lynn) Johnson; sister, Marilyn (Ernest) Beard; and special nieces and nephews, Lee & Sandra Beard, Tina Holmes, Belle Gossett, Randall Beard, and Amanda Johnson. 
Funeral services were conducted 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2007 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Berger officiating.  Interment followed a t Lynn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Stanley Johnson Memorial Fund.  Visitation was 3 – 8 p.m. Thursday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.

Roy Shelton Eslick
Roy Shelton Eslick, age 85 of Franklin, died Dec. 21, 2007.
Mr. Eslick was preceded in death by his parents Arle Palo & Mary Alice Walker Eslick; son Dwight Eslick; and sister Pearl Bogard. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louise Martin Eslick; grandchildren, Roy T. Eslick, Janet Lynn Christopher, and Jeff (Duwan) Eslick,; and great grandchildren, Lauren Huff, Shelton Tomlin, and Arlee Eslick. 
Services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24, 2007 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Jim Taylor officiating. Burial followed in Williamson Memorial Gardens.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  Visitation was 2 – 6 p.m. Sunday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.

Carolyn G. Reed
Carolyn. G. Reed, age 82 of Salem, Ill., formerly of Franklin, died Dec. 21, 2007 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Reed was born in 1925 in Franklin. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Wesley Reed, and son, W. Gary Reed. She is survived by her son, Robert Reed, of Salem, Ill.; daughters, Dorothy “Jo” Black-Leach of Marshall, Texas and Kathy Echelmeyer of Schaumburg, Ill.; sister, Evelyn Robinson of Mobile, Ala., six grandchildren, Kelly (Stuart) Medlin of Glen Carbon, Ill, Shay (Diane) Black of San Antonio, Texas, Knick (Kris) Reed of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Gary Christopher Echelmeyer of Schaumburg, Ill., Carolyn Leach of Marshall, Texas, and Gary Alan Reed of Salem, Ill.; and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23 at Rankin Funeral Home in Salem, Ill.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and will be accepted by the funeral home.

Embree Franklin Blackwell Sr.
Embree Franklin Blackwell Sr., age 87 of the Allisona Community, died Dec. 22, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Blackwell was the son of the late Charles Andrew & Ruby Harris Blackwell. He is survived by his wife, Jean Barnes Blackwell of the Allisona community; sons, Embree Blackwell Jr. of the Allisona Community, Charles (Debbie) Blackwell of Chapel Hill, Jeff (Deb) Blackwell of the Holts Corner Community, and Thomas Blackwell of Eagleville; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation was Wednesday from 5 – 8 p.m. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with the Reverend Peter Ferguson and the Reverend Tom Gibson officiating. Burial followed at the Joyce-Blackwell-Cromer Cemetery in Marshall County.

Paul Davis
Paul Davis, age 71 of Elsberry, Mo., died Dec. 22, 2007 at the Elsberry Health Care Center.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, William & Nola Davis; brothers, Jim Davis and Howard Davis; sisters, Mae Goodwin and Pearl Sparks; wife of 42 years, Mary Davis; and son, Paul Randall “Randy” Davis. He is survived by son, Scott (Robin) Davis; daughter, Tammy (John) Koch; five grandchildren; brother, Harold Davis of Franklin; sister, Lovella Orr; and several nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives, and friends.
Services were conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry with the Reverend Paul Garven officiating. Burial followed in Elsberry City Cemetery.
Visitation was held Thursday, Dec. 27 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 South Fifth Street, Elsberry, MO 63343. Online condolences may be made at www.carterricksfuneralhome.com.

Mary Alice Potts
Mary Alice Potts, age 85 of Nashville, died Dec. 22, 2007.
Mrs. Potts was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley Franklin & Annie Katherine Williams Jones; husband, Russell Paul Potts; and great granddaughter, MeKenzie Potts. She is survived by her sons, Russell (Mimi) Potts of Mt. Juliet and Ray (Nancy) Potts of Old Hickory; daughters, Sandy (Larry) Carlson of Houston, Texas and Faye (Dennis) Mitchell of Hermitage; brother, J.B. (Oneda) Jones of the Burwood Community; sisters, Lela Johnnson of Springfield and Dot (Tee) Elliott of Donelson; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Services were conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Gary Fewell officiating. Interment followed at Johnson Hollow Cemetery.
Visitation was Wednesday and two hours prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
