Sean Anderson named WCAR’s Realtor of Year

The Williamson County Association of Realtors (WCAR) announced that Sean Anderson of Sean Anderson Realty, LLC is WCAR’s Realtor of the Year 2009.

Anderson, of Brentwood, served as a member of the WCAR Board of Directors from 2007 to 2009. Anderson served as secretary/treasurer this past year. Anderson was also instrumental in contributing to WCAR’s members through his leadership on several committees including Budget and Finance, Executive Committee, and several task forces. Anderson also served as a Director for the Tennessee Association of Realtors and participates in National Association of Realtor events. Anderson also completed training to become an official instructor for WCAR, assisting real estate professionals and the public with education relating to real estate transactions.

Anderson is a strong contributor to the education and mentoring of real estate professionals. He has been licensed in Tennessee for 8 years and currently serves as the managing broker for his own firm, Sean Anderson Realty, LLC. Anderson’s colleagues credit him for always being there for them and providing the right answers to help them grow their businesses.

Anderson was presented the Realtor of the Year award by Debbie Parker, 2008’s Realtor of the Year, at the Annual Installation and Awards Reception held at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.

The Realtor of the Year Award is the highest honor presented to a member and is based upon leadership and contributions made to the Williamson County Association of Realtors, the Tennessee Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and the Williamson County community.

“Sean Anderson is absolutely most deserving of this award this year,” said newly installed WCAR President, Karen Baker. “He is tireless in his resolve to elevate the status of the real estate profession. Everyone in the WCAR family owes a huge debt of gratitude to Sean for her intelligent, competent approach to making WCAR the best professional association it can be. His drive, enthusiasm, and creativity are outstanding and I am very pleased that he was selected to be our distinguished recipient.”
