Franklin Randolph, obituary

Franklin Randolph, age 82 of Brentwood, Tenn., died Feb. 1, 2010.
He was a veteran of U.S. Army having served during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Randolph was a ranch manager for Pattibrook Farms for more than 29 years and was Barrell Racing director for the TVRA for 15 years. He was also a professional horse trainer and a respected cowboy.
Mr. Randolph is survived by his wife Bobbie Randolph; son Tilford (Christine) Randolph; daughters Kathy (Bryan) Branton and Teresa (Vance) Gardner; brother Bob Randolph and sister Della Berdick; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Rev. Lou Gordon and Mr. Rhodes Hart officiating. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 4205 Hillsboro Rd., Suite 200, Nashville, TN 37215. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Moses Family Cemetery in Deville, La.
