Detectives are hopeful that the release of new composite drawings of three men wanted for questioning in an assault of a teenage girl earlier this month in the Founders Pointe subdivision will generate new leads.
On Jan. 4 at approximately 3:20 p.m., a girl was cut by one of the suspects who was armed with a small pocket knife during an assault near the subdivision’s pool. Investigators who have been aggressively pursuing leads since the attack say that several facts exist that make it clear that this was not a random attack and that previous contact between the offenders and victim precipitated the attack, according to FPD Sgt. Charles Warner.
The suspects were driving a silver Honda (or similar) 4-door that was in poor condition. The interior of the vehicle is black. The suspects, all believed to be in their late teens to early 20’s are described as follows:
1. White male, short and skinny with ear length dark brown hair.
2. White male, tall and muscular with dark “buzz cut” style hair and a diamond earring in each ear. This suspect was wearing a dark grey heavy jacket.
3. Black male, tall and muscular with “buzz cut” style hair.
