Unsolved murder marks one-year anniversary; investigators need public's help

It’s been one year since the murder of a Williamson County man who was well known in the music industry. Roger Fox, 61, of Fernvale was found shot to death at his home on Old Harding Road Sept. 22, 2010. Williamson County Sheriff’s Office investigators are still working hard to solve that case, but they need your help.

Investigators know Mr. Fox’s death was not by natural causes. He was a very private person who lived alone.  He didn’t have a job and had a small circle of friends.  Guns and illegal drugs were found in his home so robbery is not believed to be the motive in his death.

Anyone with information about the murder of Roger Fox is asked to contact the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at 615-790-5554. Ask for Detective Kevin Sheldon. You can also call Williamson County Crime Stoppers at 615-794-4000. Persons contacting Crime Stoppers will remain anonymous and can receive a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
