Guy Brown enhances, extends partnership with Vanderbilt University

Guy Brown, an award-winning, certified Minority Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) offering quality office, furniture, print and promotional solutions, has reached a new five-year agreement with Vanderbilt University to supply the institution with office products, ink and toner cartridges and office furniture.
Guy Brown and Vanderbilt University have worked together since 2003, but the new agreement extends the partnership through June 31, 2017 and increases the services provided by the office supplier to the University.
“We’re excited to extend our relationship with Vanderbilt University and to increase the services we provide,” said Steve Creed, Senior V.P. of Sales for Guy Brown. “We are a natural fit within the higher education market because of our commitment to diversity and sustainability, and to be able to serve an institution right here in Nashville only increases the capabilities of our partnership.”
The new agreement will enhance the original relationship in a number of ways including the addition of dedicated sales representation, an OfficeMax retail discount, price matching, recyclable tote programs to support sustainability and extensive new budgeting and reporting capabilities.
The original contract called for dedicated delivery personnel, customized toner recycling with charitable donation incentives, dedicated customer service representation and next-day delivery of all products.
Guy Brown was selected by Vanderbilt after answering a request for proposal from the school for the enhanced package of services.
