Franklin crook takes Wal-Mart’s Price Roll Back a little too far
By wherald
On Friday, Aug. 24 an unidentified Wal-Mart shopper switched tags on two different boxes of LEGO toy sets and purchased the more expensive set using the tag from a lower priced set. According to Officer Eric Johnson of Franklin Police Public Affairs Department, “The switch saved [the suspect] $234, which is far less than his bond will be if [the public] helps put a name to the man’s face.”
Recently obtained surveillance video shows the man and the older model red truck in which he was seen leaving.
“If you know who he is, you could receive up to $1,000 cash with a call to Williamson County Crime Stoppers at 794-4000,” Johnson said.
