Lynn Sutton, obituary

Lynn Francis, 82 of Franklin, Tenn., died Sept. 9, 2012.
He was born March 29, 1930 in Memphis, Tenn. to the late Claude and Christine Sutton.
He was a devoted husband and father and a history enthusiast and graduated from Memphis State in 1956 and was an Air Force Pilot and served in the Air Defense
Command during the Korean Era. Mr. Sutton went on to a successful career with the Bell System and retired after 31 years from AT&T in 1987. During his retirement he worked as a teacher for the Adult Literacy Council and then served for 15 years as a Reserve Deputy with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department.
Mr. Sutton is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years Bobbye Jean Sutton; sons, Daniel (Carmen) Sutton and David Sutton; sister, Edna Brown; grandchildren, Eli, Gabriella, and Guillermo.
Memorials may be made in his name to Music City Honor Flight, PO. Box 292362 Nashville, TN 37229 (musiccityhf.org). A graveside inurnment will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin.
