WCAR elects new Board of Directors

The Williamson County Association of Realtors (WCAR) announced their new Board of Directors for 2012-13. The 1,500 members voted to elect three new executive officers and five new directors.
The 2012-13 board includes:
Board President: Matt Ligon, Broker, Zeitlin and Company Realtors
President-Elect: Lisa Culp Taylor, Bob Parks Realty, Brentwood
Secretary/Treasurer: Chip Kerr, Broker, Crye-Leike Realtors
Past-President: Melissa Clough, Keller Williams Realty
Director: Andy Brookhover, Benchmark Realty
Director: Vicky Crigger, Broker, Village Real Estate, Franklin
Director: Susan Diebolt, Bob Parks, Real Estate, Franklin
Director: David Logan, Broker, Silverpointe Properties
Director: John Taylor, Zeitlin and Company Realtors
Returning Directors Include: Chris Cantrell, Foundation Title; Corbi Parker, Benchmark Realty; Laura Cragon Zeitlin, Crye-Leike Realtors
“We are looking forward to a new year of leadership at WCAR,” Williamson County Association of Realtors Executive Vice President, Tiffany Cheuvront said. “It’s always an exciting time at the Association to welcome fresh faces and new ideas on the Board as we embark on our fifty-first year. We remain focused on providing value to our membership and we are enthusiastic about the direction our Association is headed."
“I have been anticipating my term as Board President with enthusiasm and years of preparation,” said incoming Board President, Matt Ligon. “The newly elected board will dive right into our 2013 agenda as we focus on our strategic planning at our October board retreat. This is an important time for our Association to reflect on our success and plan for our future.”
In the 50 years since its incorporation, WCAR has served Williamson County, its members and the community by supporting disaster relief efforts, sponsoring a scholarship for Williamson County high school seniors and many other charities throughout the County. Today, the Association is a leading provider of education, professional development and advocacy for its members.
