Congratulations to Lady Sabers Golf team members Ann Catherine Blackburn, Caroline Groves, and Lauren Reed, who won the Williamson County Championship on Oct. 3. Ann Catherine shot a 34 (1 over par, crazy good), Caroline a 44, and Lauren a 47. We combined to shoot 78 to win the championship by 14 strokes. Ann Catherine placed first in the individual, and Caroline tied for third in the individuals. Way to Represent, ladies!
Students of The Month
Sunset Middle School is proud of our student’s academic achievements as well as their inward character. Each month our teachers nominate a boy and girl from each grade level who have personified a specific trait. September’s focus was on RESPECT and the selected students are Reshonda Andrea Shinault and Jon Baker [6th], Meron Kassa and Ryan Maguire [7th], and Destiny Pannell and Timothy Cody [8th]. Congratulations to these well deserving students. October’s trait is RESPONSIBILITY.
