Jill Moore writes:
The fifth grade students in Vicki Seraphine’s class are sharing different examples of dialect as they read independently.
April Lee’s, third to fifth grade guidance classes are learning about goal-setting and talking about study skills. Kindergarten through second-graders are learning about cooperation in different ways: kindergarten is working in small groups, first-graders are playing Sneetch ball (from the story “The Sneetches”), and second graders are working together to pull up a giant turnip (from the story, “The Enormous Turnip”).
In preparation for learning to play recorders in Rachel Ratajeski’s music classes, fifth graders are reviewing notes and rhythm.
Karen Waddell’s kindergarten class will be composing and decomposing sets 6-10 and learning to write numbers 6-10 in math.
