Raymond E. Boyce, 83 of Unionville, Tenn., died October 25, 2012 in Nashville, Tenn.
Mr. Boyce was born in Bedford County and was a son of the late John M. and Evelyn Rusher Boyce. He was a lifelong farmer and livestock dealer and a member of Rover Baptist Church.
Mr. Boyce is survived by his wife, Emogene “Jean” Boyce, Unionville, Tenn.; daughter, Carolyn (Bob) Bellenfant, Shelbyville, Tenn.; son, Bob (Clara) Boyce, Shelbyville, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Tracey Fields, Shelbyville, TN, Robin (Mark) Stafford, Shelbyville, Tenn., Gary (Wendy) Boyce, Shelbyville, Tenn., Angie (Thomas) Brown, Shelbyville, Tenn.; four great-grandchildren, David Donald, Johnson City, Tenn., Matthew France, Shelbyville, Tenn., Caleb Boyce, Unionville, Tenn., Mason Brown, Shelbyville, Tenn.; sisters, Marie Cooper, Unionville, Tenn., Helen (James M.) Crowell, Unionville, Tenn.; and brothers, Johnny Boyce, Unionville, Tenn., Bill Boyce, Shelbyville, Tenn., Donald Boyce, Unionville, Tenn. He was also preceded in death by a brother Albert “Shorty” Boyce.
Visitation was held Oct. 27, 2012 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted Oct. 28, 2012 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Grooms officiating. Burial followed in Simpson Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Chapel Hill.
