Mercy Community Healthcare promotes Owens and Boye
Mercy Community Healthcare, previously Mercy Children’s Clinic, announced two promotions within the growing organization: Margaret Owens as Chief Operating Officer and Jonathan Boye as Chief Behavioral Officer. Having recently received a grant to become a federally qualified health care facility, the company will begin offering healthcare services for adults in early 2013 with Owens and Boye serving vital roles as part of this expansion.
“It’s exciting to see the mission of Mercy grow and to have dedicated and talented people like Margaret and Jonathan helping us forge a wider path as we serve more in our community,” said CEO David Winningham.
“Mercy is blessed by their leadership and their desire to serve.” Previously Director of Business Operations at Mercy Children’s Clinic, Margaret Owens will now serve as Chief Operating Officer. Owens will oversee the daily operations of the 10-physician practice and 45 support staff in the Williamson Square Shopping Center. Before joining Mercy in 2006, Owens held a position as a Medical Practice Manager for nearly 30 years.
Jonathan Boye, LPC-MHSP, is now Chief Behavioral Health Officer after previously serving as Director of Family Services. He will oversee all aspects of behavioral health, including patient counseling, case management, social services and the school-based program. Boye has been a part of the Mercy team since 2006.
Mercy Community Healthcare is in the Williamson Square Shopping Center located at 1113 Murfreesboro Road in Franklin. The clinic is a full-service pediatric clinic serving both the uninsured and fully insured.
