Franklin Man Arrested for Providing Alcohol to Minors

Shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday, Franklin Police responded to the 100 block of Tyne Drive for a disturbance after neighbors reported hearing people screaming. Officers found the garage door at 122 Tyne Drive partially open, and observed several people and an array of open alcohol inside. When officers announced their presence, several people ran into the house and then out a back door.

Police arrested 21-year-old resident, Joshua Henkle, charging him with Providing Alcohol to Minors. Henkle was extremely intoxicated and became uncooperative with officers. He remains jailed in Williamson County on a $5,000 bond. Police say that this case should serve as a reminder that anyone caught providing alcohol to minors will be arrested. Henkle is due in court on Nov. 15 at 2 p.m.
