Lipscomb Elementary students cast their votes

 Lipscomb Elementary School students are shown voting in their Mock Presidential Election, Monday, Nov. 5. Students are accompanied by fifth-grade teacher Jackie Coughlin.
Students were encouraged to wear red, white and blue. Many grade levels had been discussing elections and civics in their classes. For many, this was the first presidential election that a child had been old enough to remember. This was a wonderful learning experience.
